I only came across this archive today. Many thanks for the work you're doing. It's essential that we in Scotland have clear and accessible challenges to the 'narrative' in this information war.

BTW in the first graph I'd expect the right hand end of the blue line (22) to more or less match the left hand end of the green line (32). Is this a result of registrations being delayed over Christmas?

Many thanks for the feedback. We've not been on substack that long - we've been publishing these on Twitter more or less since the start back in 2020 (when the insanity of the response was already clear in the data), and more recently we'd been putting on the blog section of our website (ScottishUnity.org). But substack seems a good platform for this kind of data, as well as we keep our own records of all of these data, and regularly communicate to 'officials' here (e.g. see Professor Ennos' recent letter to the covid inquiry).

The alignment you mention is due to year-end reporting. Weeks 51 through 2 are really volatile (in all datasets, not only mortality) so we typically see wild swings in that period. Using a long enough moving average would resolve that, but at the cost of short term clarity. We use moving average in other charts to try and capture both.

Thanks for the reply. I don't use Twitter partly due to disinterest in gossip and partly because of its political bias.

I've just started on substack myself having followed with increasing alarm the rise of the charlatan state in the UK and in Scotland and the resulting crises in our health, economy , society and culture. There are many really impressive writers on substack and the quality of the research and writing is first class.

I look forward to receiving your posts as long as the lights stay on!
